Christmas is a wonderful time to gather with family and unwrap presents. At least that's what the Hallmark Channel would have you believe.

But sometimes family can be too much or you're simply spending the holidays with friends and want to get a few drinks.

Either way, Miami's bars feel you. Here's a list of bars that will be open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

305 Brews. Open Christmas Eve until 6 p.m. and opens Christmas Day at 7 p.m. 3535 NE Second Ave.,

Blackbird Ordinary. Open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 6 p.m. till late. 729 SW First Ave.,

Bodgea Taqueria y Tequila. Open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from noon to 5 a.m. with a special holiday taco filled with pork belly, caramelized onions, maduros, habanero truffle honey, chicharrón, and cilantro. 1220 16th St., Miami Beach; 305-704-2145;

Bougainvillea's Old Florida Tavern. Closed Christmas Eve. Open Christmas Day from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. 7221 SW 58th Ave., South Miami; 305-669-8577;

Broken Shaker. Open Christmas Eve at 6 p.m. until late and Christmas Day from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. with a special Christmakkah celebration. 2727 Indian Creek Dr., Miami Beach; 786-325-8974;

Cantina la Veinte. The bar at Cantina la Veinte will be open all day Christmas Eve and will open at 5 p.m. Christmas Day. 465 Brickell Ave., Miami; 786-623-6135;

Fado Irish Pub. A Christmas-themed pop-up with holiday cocktails is open Christmas Eve until 8 p.m. and closed Christmas Day. 900 S. Miami Ave., Miami; 786-924-0972;

Fontainebleau Miami Beach. All bars at the resort, including Bleau Bar, will be open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-538-2000;

Nancy. Open Christmas Eve from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. with an all-day happy hour offering half-priced cocktails, wine, and beer. A new "Daily Rations" menu lists snacks such as "seadeviled" eggs and cheese planks ($6 to $10). Onyx Bar at the Villa Casa Casuarina. Open Christmas Eve from 6 p.m. to midnight and serving cocktails such as a 24-karat gold margarita, along with bites from the onsite restaurant. 1116 Ocean Dr., Miami Beach; 786-485-2200;

Purdy Lounge. Open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 6 p.m. till late. 1811 Purdy Ave., Miami Beach;

Ricky's South Beach. Open Christmas Eve from noon to 5 a.m. and Christmas night from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. Holiday cocktails include the SoBe sour (Bulleit bourbon, apricot, lemon, pineapple, cinnamon, red wine, and egg white) and the Sixth Borough (rum, sweet vermouth, allspice, and bitters). 1222 16th St., Miami Beach; 305-704-3602;

Sweet Liberty. Open Christmas Eve from noon till late and Christmas Day at 6 p.m. Food will be served both days. 237 20th St., Miami Beach; 305-763-8217;

Wynwood Brewing Company. Open Christmas Eve from noon to 5 p.m. All non-barrel-aged beers will be available for Crowler and growler fills. Closed Christmas Day. 565 NW 24th St., Miami;
