Up till I shot this video, I had never seen a real-life truffle. I’ve shot in the kitchens of some fine, highly rated restaurants in Miami, but I’ve only ever seen truffle oil. This mac ‘n’ cheese recipe uses actual truffles baked right in to a crispy, hot, cheesy mass of creamy, delicious goodness. Chef Odel Arencibia
of the Capital Grille Miami is the dude behind the line. He prepared a five-course presentation of the plates they’re offering for their five-courses-for-$49 promotion as part of a pairing with Castello Banfi Tuscan winemakers.
I’m not a food reviewer, I shoot pictures and make movies, but I will say this black truffle mac ‘n’ cheese was awesome. It had a killer aftertaste. Click here to find out more about the Capital Grille.
