Delray Beach is about to get its first Miami-inspired chic Italian restaurant, marking a wave of new openings in Palm Beach County.

The hospitality team behind Miami favorites Salumeria 104, Osteria, Spris Pizza, and Segafredo is opening a new Italian spot called Casalina at the Shoppes at Addison Place on October 25.

The casual-chic Italian restaurant aims to bring a mix of Italian tradition and modern flair inspired by Italian-American influences in a setting inspired by Capri.

Located at 16950 Jog Rd., Casalina will have a large, yet cozy and elegant dining room with greenery draping from the ceiling, white tablecloths, and banquette seating for up to 74 guests. There will also be an outdoor patio that is covered and anchored by a large lemon tree. The patio here is large, with seating for 100 people in a setting inspired by Capri.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Casalina to the heart of Delray Beach,” says Angelo Masarin, chef and co-owner of Casalina. “After years of developing the Miami market, we wanted to find the perfect spot in Palm Beach County that would welcome our Italian roots in a way that felt natural to the existing community. Casalina brings together the best of Italian tradition and flavors and a touch of American accents, with the goal of making every guest feel at home.”
The menu created by Masarin and Chef Mattia Teagano features an assortment of pasta, wood-fired pizza, risotto, fresh fish, and prime meats. Teagano prioritizes the use of fresh ingredients sourced from local farms and select producers in Italy, with weekly rotating specials through its “That’s Amore” menu.

Highlights from the menu include the Spanish octopus carpaccio, vongole oreganata, smoked duck breast, and wood-fired pizzas like the eggplant and bufala, "Silvia," and one with wild mushrooms. Pasta and risotto are specialties at the restaurant, while other specialty dishes are the pappardelle lamb ragu and the risotto Milanese.

The restaurant also features a cocktail selection and a wine list. Special programming includes the “Baci & Abbracci” every Monday for 50 percent off bottles of wine, a piano bar night from 6 to 9 p.m. every Wednesday, and happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. every day.
