The fact that Peter Rosello apparently filmed himself punching a homeless man in the groin has not stopped Peter Rosello from telling a judge that he’s not guilty of punching a homeless man in the groin.
Rosello, the son of Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Echevarria and step-son of Hialeah powerbroker Herman Echevarria, had his attorney enter a written plea of not guilty today.
Twenty-year-old Rosello’s nut checking escapades caught the notice of the gossipy blogosphere last month after he filmed himself attacking the man.
Miami Beach police identified the man as 62-year-old Gary Lee Brown, and Brown agreed to press charges.
Rosello turned himself in shortly after.
But, despite the video evidence he’s pleaded not guilty to the third-degree felony charge of battery on a homeless person. If convicted he could face up to five years in prison. His next court date is set for November 29.
