Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian will officially receive the key to the city of North Miami this morning, because that’s just the cold, sad, dark world we live in now a days.
According to NBC the sisters Kardashian will officially be honored by North Miami mayor Andre Pierre at 11:30 a.m. this morning. Which makes a certain amount of sense, considering we’re just about as bewildered by Pierre’s ability to remain in power in North Miami despite rampant allegations of corruption and ineptitude as we are by the Kardashian’s massive popularity in America.
Of course, the sisters Kardashian are currently filming Kim and Kourtney Take Miami, one of several iterations of their E! reality show, in North Miami. They had tried to secure a house to film and live in Miami Beach but were rebuffed by neighbors assisted by Miami Beach’s filming laws.
So, this is apparently North Miami’s way of saying, “Uh, thanks for picking us as your second choice.”
NBC 6 reports that lunch will be served afterwards.
