The new Miami Dolphins uniforms weren’t supposed to be unveiled until Thursday, but it looks like they’ve hit the web a little earlier than scheduled. The only part of the new unis we’d seen till now had been a bit of white face mask.
Now UniWatch has tweeted the following picture and claims the designs are “confirmed.”
The design jibes with earlier reports of what the uniform would look like. Notice how the racing stripe down the pant legs and at the top of the helmet has been replaced with a thicker teal stripe. Aside from the new logo and face mask color, that detail might be the biggest change.
There’s also this front-facing view (along with new uniforms for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Minnesota Vikings).
Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $18,000 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
Apparently, there’s no orange jersey alternate for this set. Which is fine because half the time when they wore those, we just thought, Wait, why are the Hurricanes playing on Sunday?
