Now that the Jersey Shore scourge has left our fair shores (only to be replaced with the possible threat of something slightly less crude and greasy) it seems the entire city, even the criminal justice system, is ready to be done with them completely. The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, in fact, tells TMZ today that it's closing the case against cast member Sammi.

Sammi got in a cat fight with 24-year-old Kristen DeMinco at Club Dream in May. DeMinco claims she took two of Sammi Sweetheart's sweet fists to the face. But now that Sammi has left the 305, the State Attorney's Office no longer wants to pursue the misdemeanor charges.

However, they add that the case could be reopened if Sammi ever enters Miami-Dade again. She also still could face a civil suit from DeMinco.
