Four people have been rushed to the hospital after a shooting near Miami Carol City Senior High School this afternoon. The shooting occurred after school hours and off-campus, but at least two victims are students. However, it has not been confirmed whether or not the students attended the nearby high school.
The incident occurred near the vicinity of a Popeye’s Restaurant and a Victory gas station near Northwest 183rd Street and 32nd Avenue. The chicken chain is located about a half block from the school. Apparently the incident started at the gas station before spreading to the Popeye’s. The students were not involved in whatever incident caused the shooting and appear to be innocent bystanders.
According to WSVN, those shot include two males and two females. All were between the ages of 13 and 21.
