In case you didn’t already make it (like me) or you’re blissfully unaware of anything happening around you (like me), you might not be aware that Miami Spa Month has been extended. Yes, much like Miami Spice Restaurant Month, Miami Spa Month is now a misnomer for almost-two months of indulgent beautification. You better make your appointment right away, because Sunday will be knockin’ on your door before you know it. To save you some time, I’m highlighting some of the most luxe, interesting deals. Book a reservation now, thank me later.

The Mandarin Oriental is known as one of the most fab spas in the city, and its offer of a $99 Oriental Foot Therapy sesh sounds almost too good to pass up. Just listen – “Leave the everyday pressures of life behind and cleanse away your cares with this symbolic and traditional treatment. The feet rest on warm pebbles as they are bathed in warm water rich with fragrant oils. Your therapist exfoliates and smoothes the feet and lower legs as well as massages Marma points on the feet and ankles.” Sounds like a dream, right? Call 305-913-8332 to book.

The Boutique Spa at the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove has a pretty sweet deal -- $99 will get you a tandem facial and pedicure, which promises a specialized spa experience with two therapists working in unison. The facial is specially catered to your skin type, and there’s a foot mask to exfoliate, hydrate and pamper your weary tootsies. It also comes with a shoulder, neck, arm and scalp massage to send you to outer space.

Also in the Grove, Jurlique Spa at the Mayfair is offering a Journey to Havana which includes a mojito-inspired aromatherapy massage, sugar scrub, and Vichy shower water massage. Sweet!

If scented spa experiences are what you desire, MySpa at the Intercontinental has scrumptious deals with the mySunshine State-of-Mind orange blossom massage and lava shell back massage. And they’re offering a 75-minute pedicure, which sounds absolutely dreamy. While Uhma Spa has an Avocado and Organic Raw Honey Wrap with Vichy Shower and Dry Brush Scrub that sounds like it’ll make you feel soft and smell like heaven.

The Setai’s deal is short and sweet – a 30-minute Samtra Coffee or Jivana Ayurvedic body polish followed by a 30-minute back massage. The serene atmosphere should make your half-hour pampering session even more relaxing. But if your time is of the essence, the deal at Spa Terre at Grove Isle gives you more bang for your buck – there $99 will get you an 80-minute custom massage: a medley of swedish, pedi-sage and deep tissue massage techniques combined to create a personalized experience. Exotic essential oils makes this a truly luxurious experience.

Some spas are luring customers with brand name products -- The Ritz-Carltons on Key Biscayne and South Beach use Prada products for their 50 minute Prada Exfoliant Visage facial, and Willow Stream at the Fairmont in Aventura has gone specific with their facials -- the Relaxation meets Results facial is 90 minutes of professional cleansing, exfoliating, skin analysis, contour-lift massage, professional masque and skin care application and home care guidance.

Psst, staycationers -- several Miami hotels are offering special hotel packages to coincide with Miami Spa Month. Check out the "special offers" section at MiamiSpaMonth.com.
