Naples Man Threatens to Bite Faces Off "Like Guy In Miami," Spits Blood at Nurse

Rudy Eugene, "the Miami Zombie," is not a role model. We thought that much would be evident, but apparently 21-year-old Giovani Martinez decided he found him self a new hero after being arrested for a DUI. After being transported to a hospital, he threatened to eat the staffers' faces "like the guy in Miami." He also bit a staff member's arm and spit blood into the man's face.

According to The Naples Daily News, Martinez was pulled over for speeding in East Naples at around 2 a.m. on Saturday morning. He seemed intoxicated, and a beer had spilled in his front seat. He failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody.

He arrived at the Naples jail, but passed out and was taking to a hospital in Naples. He came to while being transferred from the ambulance to a hospital bed, and that's when all hell broke loose.

The 21-year-old begin punching and kicking staff, and screamed he was going to "fucking kill everyone." He then bit a staff member's arm and spit the blood into the man's face.

According to the arrest report, he then screamed he was "going to eat the staff's face like the guy in Miami," and threatened to rape everyone's wives. His kicks made contact with the heads and stomachs of a few members of the hospital staff and deputies. It took deputies about 20 minutes to get him under control.

He now faces three counts of felony battery on law enforcement officials and EMTs as well as the original DUI charge.
