If you are looking to watch the Miami Hurricanes’ first national championship appearance in 24 years, it looks like you will have to drop more than a month’s worth of rent for a ticket.
On Thursday night, the Canes beat the Ole Miss Rebels in a 31-27 thriller to advance to the College Football Playoff National Championship at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens on January 19. Quarterback Carson Beck put together a 15-play, 75-yard drive that ended with his game-winning touchdown run to lift the Hurricanes over Ole Miss with just 18 seconds left and end the Hurricanes’ curse at the Fiesta Bowl.
The Canes will now have a chance to secure their sixth title at their home stadium against either the Indiana Hoosiers or the Oregon Ducks. However, it certainly won’t be cheap to catch the action in person.
As of Friday morning, the secondary market ticket prices start at around $3,000, and that is for the worst seats in the stadium.
StubHub indicates that the cheapest ticket is available for $3,082 in Section 313, Row 29. If you want to spend nearly your entire salary on a ticket, then you are in luck! You can sit in a second row box seat for $49,884.

On Ticketmaster, a ticket in Section 351, Row 29 will run you a casual $3,177. The most expensive ticket is for a second row box seat, at $29,155.

The cheapest ticket on SeatGeek is $3,195 in Row 29 of Section 313. The most expensive ticket is listed at $40,744 in, you guessed it, the second row box.

The Hurricanes’ opponent in the national title game will be decided on Friday night in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta. The Hoosiers are the current favorite to advance to face the Canes.
