Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets @ Miami Hurricanes, Tonight at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN
Something kind of weird is happening: Oddsmakers have picked the No. 20 Miami Hurricanes as the favorites going into tonight’s game against No. 14 Georgia Tech. Even ESPN is predicting a Hurricanes win.
Obviously, it’s a good kind of weird. Like when a boy gets his first chest hair. Perhaps last year’s young team is finally entering maturity.
Depending on who you talk to, GT is supposed to be the second-hardest matchup during our first four weeks of hell — the stretch of games that some predicted the Canes could go 0-4. But here we are with things looking a lot better. Dare we say we’d be a little disappointed if we didn’t go 3-1?
Or maybe we’re just letting that chest hair go to our head, because there’s a part of us that’s preparing for 1-3.
