Nike likes to showcase a lot of its out-there designs on the Oregon Ducks. Under Armour has provided some interesting uniforms for the Maryland Terrapins.
And now that the University of Miami has aligned itself with Adidas, the Hurricanes may find themselves sporting some very eye-catching gear.

The news of Miami ditching its long-term partnership with Nike to sign with Adidas leaked earlier this week, but it wasn't officially confirmed until this morning. Miami might have been the original "Nike school," but now Nike has deals with 45 of the 65 teams that play in the NCAA's big five football conferences. Despite UM and Nike's 27-year history, the buzz is that the Hurricanes had become less of a priority for the Swoosh, and Adidas was more than happy to swoop in.
"Adidas had looked at this as a chance to get themselves more recognizable by landing a name brand, and thus would try a lot of new/cutting-edge designs and products with Miami," State of the U reports.
So does that mean we'll see the Canes decked out in a lot of insane Adidas gear?
Well, if the first images of the football cleats Adidas tweeted today are any indication, it certainly seems so.

Yep, that's a lot of crazy shoes!
It's nice to see that Adidas knows its UM history and culture.
The deal will officially begin September 1, just in time for the new football season. It'll be interesting to see what the rest of the uniforms look like.
