We need to raise $10,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
We apologize in advance, but we guess you could say his milkshake brings all the boys to their grave.
Forty-one-year-old Timothy Gochenour of Vero Beach is behind bars after allegedly killing his roommate with a drug-laced milkshake.
According to WPTV, 51-year-old Michael Gray’s body was discovered Friday morning in a bedroom in the home he shared with Gochenour. Gray’s wife had been out of town and had not heard from her husband for several days before police got involved. The wife also said she was suspicious of Gochenour.
When police arrived Gochenour told them that Gray was out at a bar, but they noticed Gochenour was acting nervously. They then searched the home and found Gray’s body.
Gochenour then confessed that he had been arguing with Gray over both rent and privacy issues in the home, and made his roommate a milkshake laced with prescription drugs.
Gochenour, a registered sex offender, now faces charges of murder.
