Despite the pleas of New York’s local media, it seems that LeBron James will not be heading to join the Knicks. Or so says Charles Oakley, a former Knicks player and close pal of LeBron.

“Chicago or Miami. Not New York. He’s leaving,” Oakley told the New York Daily News.
Hmmm, the Heat and the Bulls? Why, those happen to be the same two teams that are the frontrunners in the Dwyane Wade sweepstakes, too. Sure, Wade has made it pretty clear that he’s likely to return to Miami next year. However, he is a Chicago native, and that’s enough to keep Chi-Town fans’ hopes alive. Though, if Chicago does land LeBron, they’ll be like “Dwyane What?”
This also opens the possibility that Wade and James will be suiting up for the same team, which is to say they will win every NBA championship ever for the next five years or so. Let’s hope it’s Miami.
