We had such hopes for Ted Ginn Jr., but the guy just didn’t live up to them. Hell, we suggested after his game-losing, disastrous performance against the Saints last year the only way he could make it up to the Miami community was by swimming to Cuba and personally deposing the Castro brothers with his own hands. Well, he’s getting out of town but he’s actually headed closer to the Castro District.
The Dolphins have traded slippery hands Ginn to the San Francisco 49ers for a measly 5th round draft pick in return, according to reports.
The Fins drafted Ginn in 2007 with the 9th pick over-all, but he continually failed to live up to his promise. Instead of trying to develop him, Tuna and Tony have decided to ship him out. His fate was pretty much sealed when the Dolphins signed Brandon Marshall, another wide receiver who’s actually proven himself, earlier this week.
