Happy Boxing Day, Miamians. Here’s a chance to work off some of that holiday gluttony: Critical Mass, the monthly group bicycle ride, is back, with a 15-mile route tonight.
This evening the group ride begins downtown and heads west through Little Havana, then winds its way south to Coral Gables before looping back east and passing through Brickell. So drivers in that area, heads up.
Riders should meet at Government Center, at 150 NW 1st Street, at 6:30 for the 7:15 ride.
Organizers are also urging safety and good cycling etiquette, emphasizing that riders, among other things, shouldn’t drink beer while riding, ride on sidewalks, or engage in altercations with motorists. “Don’t be ‘that guy,'” The Miami Bike Scene’s website reads.
