Chris Bosh's life imitates art... sort of. Last year, the Borscht Film Festival made sports blog headlines by producing an unauthorized animated short film that portrayed Chris Bosh as an intergalactic space prince.

Well, now real-life Bosh himself is actually providing the voice for an animated inter-dimensional, all-seeing, and all-hearing guardian sentry.

Yes, Bosh is providing the voice of Heimdall, a character of Disney XD's Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. That's the same character, by the way, that Idris Alba plays in the Thor movies.

Via Sports Illustrated Kids, here's a look at Bosh's first foray into the world of voice acting.

"People kept telling me I have a nice voice," Bosh told the site. "I don't know if they were just trying to compliment me or if they were serious or just pulling my leg, but I just kind of listened to everyone. And I've been watching cartoons my whole life. So I thought it would be pretty cool to do some things like that."

This is not Bosh's first foray into Hollywood. He's made something of a hobby out of appearing on primetime series as himself, including Parks & Rec, Law & Order: SVU, Jessie, Entourage, and Go On.
