Last night, I hit up the official Get Physical label site while looking for some info on Philipp Jung of M.A.N.D.Y.’s upcoming DJ gig at Space on the 23rd. On a lark, I decided to hit the little “Miami” tab on the label’s tour dates page, and lo and behold…. M.A.N.D.Y. itself (the duo of both Jung and partner/Physical label co-founder Patrick Bodmer) is listed as playing on Saturday, March 27, at the Get Physical party at Charcoal Studios in Wynwood!
The annual party has proved to be one of the best bets of WMC since its inception, and was slated for Charcoal Studios last year, before it was moved to “Studio K” (Kukaramakara). The label’s whole vibe will fit this warehouse well, so if it goes as planned this, again, should be one of the best dance events in March. No other artists are listed as playing the event yet on Get Physical’s page, but Booka Shade is probably a safe bet, seeing as that duo also co-founded the label. We’ll update this as soon as we get more details.
