Black Messiah’s poignant social and political themes struck chords in the wake of the Ferguson unrest. We may have waited 14 years for the album – but it was so apropos.
Along with his band, the Vanguard, D’Angelo heads to South Florida on October 6 to perform at the Fillmore Miami Beach. Tickets officially go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, August 14, at the Fillmore Miami Beach box office or at livenation.com and by phone at 800-745-3000 — but a Live Nation presale begins at 10 a.m. today for those with a special offer code (we don’t know what the code is… try waffles?
