The name Switchfoot sounds like the moniker for an awful pop punk band trying to capitalize on skateboarding culture. Instead, Switchfoot is an alternative/grunge band from San Diego whose name is capitalizing on surfing culture. They’re touring in support of their upcoming “Hello Hurricane” album, set to release on October 6th.
