Current NPR darlings Surfer Blood already got a co-sign from Brooklyn electro-house producer Drop the Lime when he spoke about the bands he spins when not spinning for cash in an interview last year. Now the DJ, who rolled through Miami last month, has taken his adoration to the next step by remixing SB's "Take It Easy" for Hear to Help, a 17-song comp released by American Eagle Outfitters and FILTER magazine to benefit Haiti relief efforts. Haven't gotten over to the Aventura Mall yet to pick up our copy yet, but it's less cringe-worthy than the revamped "We Are the World" (on paper, anyhow).
