Shakira's comeback Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour has been a rollercoaster, and not always for the right reasons. The stadium spectacle, her first tour in seven years and one she calls "the most ambitious tour of my entire career," has been plagued by production issues, cancellations, and even a measles scare.
Still, after touring South America and performing some dates in the U.S. and Canada — and a spate of cancellations in the Coachella Valley, Dallas, Chicago, Boston, and Washington, D.C. — Shakira will finally return home for two shows at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens on Friday and Saturday night. Anticipation has been building for weeks, and as it turns out, Shak seems just as giddy about the shows as her dedicated fans.
On Wednesday, she posted a video on her social media teasing some special guests expected to join her Friday and Saturday night concerts.
Manuel Turizo, who just announced an intimate show in Miami later this month, is one of three guests already announced by Shakira. Presumably, they'll perform their duet "Copa VacÃa," off her 2024 album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. She also announced "La Tortura" collaborator Alejandro Sanz and Ozuna, with whom she released the bachata track "MonotonÃa," will also make appearances.
"Miami is going to be incredible," she said in the video. But despite her excitement, she's keeping one more surprise close to the vest.
You might not want to hear this if you're going to the first show, but Shakira confirmed the big surprise will take place at the second show, on Saturday night. "You can't miss it," she added.
