The IWAN space The Bubble has officially positioned itself as one of the premier venues to consistently catch great local music in Fort Lauderdale, alongside the Poor House and Alligator Alley. Saturday, September 5, promoter power-couple Garo Gallo and Yvonne Colon will present another eclectic evening of music that will include Band Number 12, Gallo’s band Dooms De Pop, Chambers, Catalonia, Anteaters and the Women Who Love Them, Break On Through, and Murderous Rampage — the last of which includes Poor House back-bar staple Tom, and the music of which an anonymous commenter on a previous blog recently described as the type that “will rip your face off and burn your skull to an ashy cinder.” (The person felt so strongly about it, he or she posted it twice.) Kidding aside, the show starts at 5 p.m. and costs $5. The Bubble is located at 810 NE 4th Ave., Fort Lauderdale. The afterparty includes Sean Weeks and The Commissioner.
