For the very first time in the history of vaguely orange sugar drinks that turn your heart into an 8-volt battery, Red Bull Sound Select is coming to Miami. The concert series, which pairs national names with local up-and-comers, will host three days of music with headliners A$AP Ferg, AlunaGeorge, and Cashmere Cat.
To curate the event, which will take place September 1 through 3 at the Hangar, Red Bull reached out to local tastemakers Poplife, III Points, and YesJulz (who recently launched her own station on Dash Radio).
Red Bull has been expanding into Miami within the last few years. On Thursday, September 1, headliners A$AP Ferg and Jazz Cartier will pair with frequent YesJulz collaborator and New Jersey rapper 070 Shake.
On Friday, Cashmere Cat will close the show while brother/sister duo Tennyson and South Florida's own Nick León contribute sets. A fresh face and III Points favorite, León recently released his debut album, Profecía.

The concert will hopefully be the jolt Miami music needs to yank itself out of the slow, hot summer months and into the frenzy of shows that comes with fall and winter in Miami.
