“Tonight was the very last opportunity we possibly could’ve had on the Eras Tour to have a rain show,” a soaked Taylor Swift told her audience during the Folklore/Evermore set at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday night. “Every stadium from here on out is indoors. Kinda magical, don’t you think?”
Swift famously loves a rain show, and for two out of three nights at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, nature delivered. While the Friday audience got mostly a steady drizzle, the Sunday crowd got pelted by downpours. Swift compensated with a hyperenergetic performance and many of the same thrills the Friday and Saturday audiences got, including her new Reputation bodysuit and a third performance with Florence Welch on “Florida!!!”
Sunday’s only deviation came during the acoustic set, which always changes from show to show. Swift played mashups of “Out of the Woods” and “All You Had to Do Was Stay” on guitar, and “Mirrorball” and “Guilty As Sin?” on piano.
Another treat just for Miami: Dancer Kam Saunders’ shoutouts to our unique lingo during “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” Saunders changes his kiss-off phrase for every city, and he nailed it on all three nights at Hard Rock Stadium.
