The OP Presents tour is making a stop at Revolution Live on November 5. That means those of you who missed Boys Like Girls (who are slated to release their next album, Love Drunk, on September 8), Cobra Starship, or The Maine last time they came have a second shot to catch them on tour this year. A Rocket To The Moon and Versa Emerge are also on the ticket, meaning just about every hot pop rock and synth pop band will be represented at this show. Tickets went on sale yesterday for those of you who pay the $30 to be in the Boys Like Girls fan club. Non fanatics can pick up tickets starting Saturday through Ticketmaster.

In other news: If you were planning on seeing the LA Guns on September 12, you might

want to change your plans or buy a plane ticket to Europe. The LA Guns

will now be on a tour of the U.K. and Europe in September and October,

so have pushed back the beginning of their US tour to November. The new

date for the LA Guns tour is November 13. All tickets which have

already been purchased will be honored for the new date, and tickets

will soon be available through Ticketmaster for the new date.

Keep Miami New Times Free... Since we started Miami New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Miami, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Miami with no paywalls.
