The fair-faced producer makes warm, slowed-down emotional tracks he calls “blue-wave,” incorporating many elements from the Chilean music that he grew up with and the minimal techno he’s come to appreciate. It all has a bit of a sensuous hollowness that jives enough to keep your shoulders bouncing but relaxes enough to confirm that it’s time for another drink.

His debut album, Space is Only Noise, got a lot of love from Pitchfork, Resident Advisor, Mixmag, and all sorts of other hipster dance music types. He toured the album with a full band, but the Basel show is sure to be a stripped-down, intimate experience.

Basically, after a fun-filled day of booze and cultural sensitivity, you’re going to want to get sexy in the back of the room with some stranger. And this is the best place to do it.
