Pre-Valentine's Day Middle School Dance. With DJs Chris Video, Gooddroid, and Deadhead. Thursday, February 12, 9 p.m. Gramps, 176 NW 24th St., Miami; 786-752-6693; grampsbar.com. Free. Remember those awkward middle school dances? You know, the one where your third-period crush made your heart melt when he asked you out? But when Usher's slow jam "Let It Burn" came on, you couldn't even get close to first base because your mom was eying your every move? Thankfully, those days are long gone. But you gotta admit, it was pretty fun and the music was badass.

Relive the romance and old-school tracks of seventh grade with $16 bottles of bubbly, Mr. or Mrs. Right (Now), and a heart-themed photo booth at Gramps' Pre-Valentine's Day bash.

Seth Troxler's Terrace of Love. With ALX in the loft. Saturday, February 14, 10 p.m. Space, 34 NE 11th St., Miami; 305-375-0001; clubspace.com. Tickets cost $20 to $30 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Enter the Terrace of Love and watch fireworks explode on the dance floor with Seth Troxler's sexy techno beats and all the hopeless romantics at Space.

Neck Deep Valentine's Party. With Party Flag, Sewerslutz, Buffy, the Bearings, Perro Negro Miami, DJs Neon Brown, and Pattycakes. Presented by Cheap Miami. Saturday, February 14, 10 p.m. Delano Hotel and FDR at the Delano, 1685 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-672-2000; delano-hotel.com. Watch your smooth talkin' lover boy Miguel "paint aural portraits of his loves, his heartbreaks, and his kinky little fantasies" at the Delano's poolside V-Day bash and after-party.

Hank & Cupcakes. Bardot Valentine's Day Party with Laura (of Miami) and Artime. Saturday, February 14, 10 p.m. Bardot, 3456 N. Miami Ave., Miami; 305-576-7750; bardotmiami.com. Bask in that pure, unadulterated amour with your lovers and friends at Bardot.

Happy Valentine's Day!
