Miami Horror is not from Miami — nowhere near it, actually, for the disco-infused electropop foursome hails from Melbourne, Australia — but we can’t help but smirk at the 305 love. Well, these semi-impostors bring a jazzy, beachy vibe that would fit well at any South Beach club, anyway. The group’s latest single, “I Look to You,” fuses French house and disco bass with underlying funk guitars and smooth vocals by Melbourne’s Kimbra. The track is from the band’s latest album, Illumination, which was released this past August and whose supporting tour brings Miami Horror to LIV Wednesday, September 15.
