The robots are coming back to Miami. German electronic music legends Kraftwerk have announced that they will hit the road in 2025 for their Multimedia Tour, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the band's fourth album, Autobahn. The tour kicks off March 6, 2025, in Philadelphia, stopping at cities like Toronto, New York, Boston, Detroit, Denver, and Dallas along the way. Kraftwerk is bringing its audiovisual spectacle to Miami at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts on March 20.

When Ralf Hütter and company visit Miami next year, Kraftwerk will make its first appearance in the city in ten years. The band last performed in Miami in 2015 at the Olympia Theater. The band had announced a 2020 tour, which included a Miami stop; however, it was scrapped due to the pandemic.

To tease the 2025 Multimedia Tour, Kraftwerk released a video starring skateboarding legend and fan Tony Hawk.
The Miami show is happening on the eve of Miami Music Week when the city's venues overflow with dance music. Regardless of what kind of style of dance music you enjoy, it could be argued that without Kraftwerk, the genre may not exist today — at least in the way we know it. Kraftwerk was a pioneer in electronic music, releasing music that would be sampled throughout the decades by countless DJs. (Locally, Miami bass took a lot of inspiration from the robots.)

Tickets for the 2025 tour go on sale Friday, December 13, at 10 a.m. via kraftwerktour25.com; fans can also sign up for presale access now.
