These musical thugs have been beating up the pit for so many years that the first 13-year-old kid who moshed to their music now has grandkids. We’re not saying the band is old, we’re saying they’re a classic. There’s a difference.

A classic Miami hardcore band is one who was doin’ it way, way, way back in the day, but their music still sounds fresh and new.

And they still command a mean breakdown.

Angerfest 2011 with Anger, Sargon, Nobody’s Hero, Dissever, Death Crowned King, Purple Popcorn, Abiotic, Hardware Youth, and Maldito. Thursday, May 26. Churchill’s Pub, 5501 NE Second Ave., Miami. The pit gets going at 8:30 p.m. and admission costs $8. Call 305-757-1807 or visit churchillspub.com.
