Independent Journalism in Miami Needs You
We need to raise $10,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
The wheel in the sky keeps on turning, and Journey keeps on touring. Enjoying a second revival thanks in no small part to their song being used as the punctuation mark at the end of HBO’s The Soprano’s, Journey is tearing up the country, packing as many shows as possible into their newest tour, including an September 24 date at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood. Led by new lead singer Arnel Pineda (who replaced the band’s third singer Jeff Scott Soto once he was discovered on YouTube), Journey actually sounds almost exactly like they did in the 80’s. In fact, if you close your eyes and tip back a couple beers, you’ll be back in high school, sitting on the hood of your Camero, and acid washing your jeans all over again. Tickets aren’t yet on sale, so stay tuned to Crossfade for more information as it becomes available.
