In a shocking turn of events, a DJ has paired up with a rapper to drop a track that is completely different from all other house music — and we sincerely hope you understand sarcasm. Truth be told, though, Ian Carey’s “Last Night,” featuring Bobby Anthony and Snoop Dog, isn’t bad. The lyrics are crude and you can dance to it. What more could you possibly want?
It can’t be easy making house music sound different from all of the other house music out there. Because really, there are only so many things you can do with a synthesizer and a drum machine. But considering the fact that Carey has DJed in 50 countries and is one of the best-known dudes on the scene, we figure he must be doing something right.
