At one end of the spectrum is the Cover Girls, whose kinetic “Inside Outside” still garners spins at local bass and electro nights. Then there’s K7, whose “Come Baby Come” is one of the more obnoxious hits to emerge from the cheese-rap boom of the early Nineties. But with a lineup that includes former Exposé singer Gioia Bruno, K7’s old vocal group TKA, Noel of “Silent Morning” fame, club queen Judy Torres, and many others, fans of Eighties dance-pop should have plenty to move to during this Fever Records showcase.
