Five Best Concerts in Miami This Week

Pop the champagne, chow down 12 grapes for good luck, and kiss a stranger. 'Cause it's New Year's Week!

And in celebration of the end of 2013, the Magic City's got Pitbull ringin' in the new year at the AAA, Jay-Z bringin' his Magna Carter World Tour to SoFla, and B.B. King singin' the blues.

Here are the five best concerts going down this week.

Pitbull's New Year's Eve II. With Prince Royce and Jump Smokers. Tuesday, December 31, 9 p.m., American Airlines Arena, 601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami; 305-532-2667; aaarena.com. Tickets cost $55 to $175 and up plus fees via ticketmaster.com. The final moments of 2013 are finally here. So "you better move, you better dance, [and] make [it] a night you won't remember" with Mr. Worldwide, Prince Royce, and the Jump Smokers. ¡Dale!

Wonder Mike and Master Gee. Performing as Rappers Delight. With HenDogg, featuring DJ T Dynasty, along with Suenalo, plus DJs Heron and Self Born. Tuesday, December 31, 9 p.m., The Stage, 170 NE 38th St., Miami; 305-576-9577; thestagemiami.com. Tickets cost $75 plus fees via wantickets.com or $100 at the door. Ages 21 and up. As the song goes: "To have a party, you got to have a rap." And with Wonder Mike and Master Gee, formerly of the Sugarhill Gang, celebrating the arrival of 2014, you can be sure we'll be "going on'n'n'on'n' on on'n'on, 'cause the beat don't stop until the break of dawn."

Moov Festival 2014. With Revolvr, David Puentez, the Wailers, Leslie Grace, DJ Irie, Jes, Stiletto, Droids, Stillwell, Avenida Zero, Noel Sanger, Afrobeta, Hor!zon, Joseph Areas, Dayride Ritual, Atrasolis, and others. It's the dawn of 2014! So get up and Moov to the beats of the Wailers, Revolvr, David Puentez, and other international and local faves at Miami's first New Year's Day music bash.

Jay-Z's Magna Carter World Tour Thursday, January 2, 2014, 8 p.m., BB&T Center, 1 Panther Pkwy., Sunrise; 954-835-8000; thebbtcenter.com. Tickets cost $28.75 to $146.25 plus fees via ticketmaster.com. Jay-Z may be "caught up in all these lights and cameras," but you can't blame him for lovin' it. Hova's won 17 Grammys, sold close to 50 million albums, and cashed in $42 million this year alone. Guess that must be why he calls himself the "illest nigga alive."

B.B. King. Sunday, January 5, 2014, 8 p.m., Adrienne Arsht Center, 1300 Biscayne Blvd., Miami; 305-949-6722; arshtcenter.org. Tickets cost $49.50 to $99.50 plus fees via arshtcenter.org. Legends are forever. Just take a look at B.B. King. Now 88, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient still "Got the Blues," and he will be putting on a show at the Arsht Center alongside his curvaceous Gibson guitar, Lucille. Long live the King of the Blues.
