This week, Argentine rapper Duki has announced the U.S. leg of his Ameri World Tour, which will bring him to the Kaseya Center downtown on May 17, 2025.
The news comes after the release of the artist's latest album, Ameri, which features Myke Towers, Eladio Carrion, and Bizarrap, as well as American rappers YG and Wiz Khalifa. The inclusion of English-speaking artists on Ameri is perhaps an indication that the 28-year-old is ready to break out from the Latin American market and make the leap as a global artist.
Released last month, Ameri has been met with a resounding success. On its first day of release, it amassed 13.5 million streams and debuted atop Spain's Promusicae album charts. Duki also held a listening party in his native Bueno Aires, filling up more than 15,000 seats at the Movistar Arena.
Duki is one of the forefathers of the Argentine trap movement, which also includes Nicki Nicole, Trueno, and Tiago PZK. Along with rappers Paulo Londra and Khea and producers Bizarrap and Tatool, they helped establish the scene's building blocks, turning it into an international success.
Most of the stops on the U.S. leg of the Ameri World Tour are in midsized venues, except for the Miami show. Perhaps Duki is banking on Miami's center as the capital of the Latin music industry in hopes of selling out the venue.
Tickets go on sale at noon on Wednesday, November 13, via ticketmaster.com. The presale starts today, November 12.
