Better Than: A night without a jillion jiggawatts of bass.

Trillion dollar hotel, international DJs, good-looking people getting wild and out of control? Whatever. Nothing beats standing in front of a wall of speakers blasting molecule-shaking riot bass.

Of course, the best sound system in the world is meaningless without the bodies moving to it. But the Fontainebleau Miami Beach doesn’t have that problem.

Acres of prime poolside real estate were filled with liquor-stocked bars, the joyous sound of reckless abandon, more table service than a Dubai wedding, and a mezmerizing crowd flowing through the property like fish inside the most expensive tank you’ve ever seen.

All the DJs brought their A-game and kept the crowd hype and jumping for four straight hours. The only slip were the lame first 45 seconds of that U2 song about New Year’s Day that one dude dropped before letting a solid house beat take over.

Otherwise, bass, babes, booze, and bubbly ruled the night, and the night ruled because of it. Here is some of what we saw:
