This is a little late, but we just got word from the City of Miami police that Brisco got got last Wednesday, in the middle of the afternoon, while trying to get a haircut at a barbershop at NW Sixth Avenue and NW 63rd Street. Four men invaded the store at about 12:51 p.m. brandishing guns. One pistol-whipped the rapper while demanding his car keys. They got some cash, jewelry, and his Range Rover, but police later recovered everything a little further east, at NE Second Ave. and NE 67th Street. The City of Miami Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Barber Shop located at 6301 NW 6 Avenue. The robbery occurred on July 29, 2009, at approximately 12:51 PM. A local rapper, "Brisco" after a photo shoot, went into the shop for a hair cut when four black men invaded the store with hand guns terrifying four customers. One offender pistol-whipped the rapper and demanded his car keys. Money and several jewelry items were taken along with Brisco's Range Rover that was subsequently recovered at NE 2 Ave and 67 Street. The offenders fired shots. Fortunately, nobody was injured.
The offenders are described as four black males, eighteen to twenty (18-25) years of age last seen wearing:
§ Red shirt, full sleeve tattoos on forearms, Timberland boots, blue jean shorts, baseball cap.
§ White long T-shirt, gray sweat shorts, baseball cap.
§ White T-shirt, black hat, black pants, white sneakers, wearing striped black and white boxers underneath, beard.
§ Black shirt, black hat, black pants, black sneakers, heavy set.
In addition to the four gunmen, detectives need to identify a separate customer who was getting his hair cut and seen leaving the shop as the crime unfolded. He is described as a black male eighteen to twenty five (18-25) years old, last seen wearing a brown shirt, goatee, talking on the phone in a barber chair.
