Not to be totally outdone by all of Live Nation's various and sundry discount deals of late, rival concert promotions titan AEG Live is announcing its own special deal. It's good on this Friday, only, for one show -- the Blazed and Confused tour date on August 1 at Bicentennial Park in Miami. The show, of course, is headlined by Slightly Stoopid and Snoop Dogg, with other performances by Stephen Marley, Mickey Avalon, and Beardo.

If short-term memory loss or lack of motivation have prevented you from snagging a ticket, you can grab one for just $10 this Friday, starting at ... 4:20 p.m. The promotion ends at 8:40 -- yes, four hours and 20 minutes later. Rimshot!

Keep Miami New Times Free... Since we started Miami New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Miami, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
