Faena Miami Beach is once again turning up the volume on live jazz with the return of its annual concert series. The Faena Jazz Series celebrates its eighth season, beginning February 4, 2026, with an international lineup of acclaimed performers at the intimate and glamorous Faena Theater.
Running from February through June, the 2026 series features six performances curated and produced by Grammy-nominated record producer and artist Rachel Faro. Known for pairing world-class musicians with Faena’s luxurious, acoustically rich venue, the series has become a must-attend destination for jazz lovers across South Florida and beyond.
The season opens February 4 with Grammy-winning jazz and blues vocalist Catherine Russell. Widely recognized as one of today’s leading interpreters of mid-20th-century American music, Russell captivates audiences with luminous vocals, refined musicianship, and emotionally resonant storytelling that bridges jazz tradition and modern sensibility.
In March, rising star Stella Cole brings fresh energy to the Great American Songbook. Often praised for her “old soul” charm, Cole blends classic standards with contemporary interpretations, delivering performances that feel polished, intimate, and refreshingly current.
April welcomes trumpeter and vocalist Benny Benack, whose high-energy performances combine hard-swinging jazz, smooth vocals, and playful improvisation. With a sound that effortlessly merges classic swing with modern flair, Benack has built a reputation for shows that are both technically impressive and undeniably fun.
May belongs to Brazilian legend João Bosco, a celebrated singer-songwriter whose music is rich with rhythm, poetry, and soul. Known for intricate guitar work and expressive vocals, Bosco weaves samba, bossa nova, and MPB into layered, evocative performances that showcase the depth of Brazilian musical traditions.
The Brazilian spotlight continues into early June with Hamilton de Holanda, a virtuosic mandolinist who has redefined the instrument through daring technique and genre-crossing creativity. His genre-defying performances fuse jazz improvisation with Brazilian rhythms, creating shows that are dynamic, daring, and musically adventurous.
The series concludes June 24 with OKAN, the Juno Award-winning Afro-Cuban duo led by Elizabeth Rodriguez. Blending Afro-Cuban rhythms, jazz, and global influences, OKAN delivers an emotionally charged and rhythm-forward finale that promises to leave audiences energized.
With its curated programming and elegant setting, the 2026 Faena Jazz Series continues to position Miami Beach as a premier destination for live jazz, offering audiences a season where tradition, innovation, and international artistry meet center stage.
