If you can get past all of the “yo mama” jokes on the truck and on Yo Mama’s Twitter page, you’ll discover fresh, inexpensive seafood with Caribbean influences. The truck looks like a poster for a Disney movie, with smiling mermaids and sea creatures — all happy to sacrifice their lives to be your supper.

Start with fish croquetas ($3), Key West conch fritters ($7), or tostones stuffed with shrimp ($6) before your main course of seafood paella with plantains ($11 for a portion large enough to share). Other options include fresh grilled or blackened mahi-mahi served with yellow rice ($11), a dolphin sandwich ($10), or a beer-battered fish sandwich ($6).

The grilled and blackened seafood options are a nice change of pace from the grease-centric foods many trucks serve, plus they are a welcome addition for dieters or pescatarians.

BTTR tonight from 5:30 to 10 p.m. is one of the longest running truck roundups. Free parking, live entertainment and plenty of greenspace. Trucks include Atelier Monier,
