$7,500

If you’re dreading spending yet another Valentine’s Day alone with Netflix, binge-watching rom-coms, and crying, you’ve still got a couple weeks to secure a significant other.

And at Whole Foods Coral Gables’ “Lettuce Connect” speed-dating on February 6th, you’ll have the chance to answer cutesy questions in hopes of meeting a special someone with a shared interest in pricey organic eats.

After last month’s in-store marriage proposal, Whole Foods is Miami’s hottest new spot to find love. The gist for speed dating is this: show up at the store’s Lifestyle Center at 7 p.m. on February 6th and you’ll get snacks, “decadent hors d’oeuvres”, wine (even Whole Foods knows you need a little social lubricant), and icebreaker questions to help chatting up that cutie a little easier.

Think helpful food-related conversation starters like, “What’s your favorite leafy green?” Because unless you want your culinary future to be full of Taco Bell and Rice a Roni — you probably don’t want to commit to someone whose answer to that question is, “iceberg lettuce” (shudder).

In addition to Coral Gables, the Pinecrest locale is hosting a similar event. Theirs is dubbed ‘Express Lane Love’ and kicks off on February 12 at 6 p.m.

It’s gotta be a better place to score digits than the bar, where beer goggles and smokey air are likely to leave you deeply regretting your 2 a.m. decisions.

To sign up, call 305-421-9421 or email camille.lamb@wholefoods.com and register. You must be 21 or over to participate. The event kicks off on February 6th at 7 p.m. at Whole Foods Coral Gables.
