What goes better with latkes than applesauce and sour cream, you ask? Why, vodka, of course!!!
The good news is you don’t have to shred pounds of potatoes yourself this year, especially if you are a single Jewbie aged 22 to 39. A local group called The Tribe (isn’t that cute?) is hosting a Vodka Latke party at Meat Market, home of honorary Jew Sean Brasel. [We gave him that label for being one of the city’s top kosher caterers.] The event takes place Wednesday, December 8 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and costs $5 to $10. A discount is offered to advance purchases and those who bring unwrapped toys to the event for the Miami Beach Police Toy Distribution Drive.
