In a sea of vastly inferior pizzerias in and around Miami, the mostly unnoticed Tutto Pizza has
been popping pizzas out of the brick oven since 2001. Located next
door to Tutto Pasta, at the end of Coral Way near downtown, this quaint
space serves up some of the better pies in the city. The fresh dough
and sauce, which includes just four ingredients (tomatoes, salt, oil,
and oregano) are both made in-house. The Tutto Pizza Menu, which
offers salads and paninis as well, features eighteen different pizza
variations, each topped with the freshest and tastiest ingredients.
The crust is a bit thicker than Spris,
and softer as well. It’s baked to perfection; crisp on the outside,
yet soft and chewy inside. Then comes an adequate layer of
sauce; not too much, not too little. On the pizza Margherita
($10.95), the mozzarella is generous and comes with a clump of
fresh basil that enhances the flavors. The pizzas, which range in price from
$10.95 to $16.95, are about fourteen
inches in diameter and one feeds a hungry man.
Thursdays are the best days to visit Tutto Pizza, as they not only discount each of their bottles of wine 50 percent, but also have the all-you-can-eat special for just $12.95 per person. Pizza is served slice by slice, and the guest can choose from four pizza variations: Capricciosa (tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, mushrooms, and artichokes), Pizza Quatro Formagioi (mozzarella, blue cheese, goat cheese, and Parmesan cheese), Margherita (tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil), and Diavola (tomato sauce, mozzarella, and spicy salami). The offer is not valid for delivery or take out and no changes or substitutions are available.
Tutto Pizza is open Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., and on Sundays, 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
