1500 Degrees‘ Paula DaSilva is in the national spotlight.  We’re thinking it has something to do  with her restaurant being named one of Esquire’s Best New Restaurants 2011 (the only South Florida restaurant to make the cut, by the way).

This morning, Paula will make an appearance on the CBS’ The Early Show.

Chef DaSilva will teach Early Show contributor Katie Lee how to prepare roasted pork chops with a hickory rub, roasted root vegetables, creamy polenta, and pear chutney.

The only concern we have is that some network will see just how much the camera loves DaSilva and lure her away from the kitchen with the promise of television celebrity chef glory.
