On Friday (today), the Salty will launch a never-before-seen French toast doughnut. (That would be a 24-hour brioche, filled with whipped French toast custard and maple glaze and topped with crunchy French toast pieces, mascarpone whip, and finished with a maple drizzle.) The shop will also offer 40 percent off merchandise purchased in-store or online, along with surprise activations and giveaways at both shops, in Wynwood and South Miami. Savor SoFlo Festival

Head out to Hollywood Beach for the inaugural Savor SoFlo Festival, a two-day food and drink festival on the sand. The event will host a slew of local culinary talent from favorite restaurants across South Florida, along with tastings from breweries and a selection of wines all under a 20,000 square foot grand tasting village tent. All attendees will receive a tote bag, limited-edition wine glass, and lanyard. In keeping with the City of Hollywood’s mission to reduce environmental impact to its beaches, all vendors will use compostable or biodegradable materials the entire weekend. Guests can attend Saturday (June 5), Sunday (June 6) or both. VIP attendees will be granted early access at noon and can attend a special VIP spirits lounge. 1 to 4 p.m. (VIP noon to 4 p.m.) on Saturday, June 5 and Sunday, June 6 at Hollywood Beach. This weekend, Kush Coconut Grove hosts the fourth rendition of its annual cider festival, In-Ciderfest. On Saturday, a select group of cideries and meaderies will pop up on the patio, serving complimentary pours, including Fever-Tree mocktails and ciders from Unbranded Brewery, B.
