Party like an A-lister at The Betsy Hotel’s B Bar, where on Thursday, the uber-swanky watering hole with its black vinyl ceiling and hand-cut Parisian crystal lamps plays host to the Debbie Orta Quintet, one of the local jazz scene’s most acclaimed and accomplished groups.
The music starts at 8:30 p.m. and continues until. . . well, who really knows. Know this, though: there’s no cover so you can sit and snuggle and sip a fine adult beverage bathed in B Bar’s deep purple glow without taking a bath, finance-wise. Not bad for an evening’s A-listing.
And, btw, that’s deep purple, not Deep Purple, headbangers.
