This weekend marks the unfortunate end of stone crab season. Now is the time when generous humans hold back from decimating the crab population by giving those little suckers time to regenerate; so it’s your last chance to nab some claws. A feeding frenzy is taking place tomorrow at the ONE Bal Harbour Resort, where George’s is hosting an all-you-can-eat crab extravaganza.
Pegged as a “sunset soiree,” the event is taking over the restaurant’s terrace, cuz nothing says romance like a meal comprised of messy self-serve seafood. From 4 to 8 p.m., gorge on all the claws you can crack for $75, not exactly a steal, but the more room in your stomach, the better the deal. Traditional side offerings include smashed potatoes, heirloom tomato salad and coleslaw. For the price, you may want to just keep your eye on the prize.
