That’s right. Gratis. Calle Ocho’s favorite ventanita, Versailles, is teaming up with Smithfield (as in, the ham people) and they’re giving away free Cuban sandwiches from midnight until 2 a.m. on the first two days of South Beach Wine & Food Festival.
Find your free sandwich on the ham mobile (AKA the Smithfield food truck) at the James Hotel on Thursday, February 22 from midnight until 2 a.m. and at the Dream Hotel on Friday, February 23 from midnight until 2 a.m.
Extra points go to the people who walk up to the truck and ask for un sangwich Cubano [oon sahngweesh coobahnoh].
